One Piece 702 Spoiler Summary:

One Piece Chapter 702: Corrida Colosseum

Coverstory: Revolutionaries on the island are holding a flag of “son of the revolutionary” Gaburu… which looks like Che Guevara and Coribou.

 

The blind swordsman walks over to the restaurant owner to pay for the damages he caused.

The owner seems to realize who the man is, and says “You wouldn’t be….!!!”

 

Luffy is impressed at how strong the man is, and asks who he is.

But he simply replies “…it seems it’s in better interest for both of us if I keep that silent.”

As Sanji and Zoro assess how strong the man is, people in the store realizes their belongings are missing.

Zoro’s Shuusui is missing too!!

According to a toy, it’s the work of the fairies.

 

Zoro senses the thief leaving the building, and looks away to see the thief’s bag is stuck due to his Shuusui.

As the thief runs away, Zoro, Sanji, and Kin chase him.

Luffy tries to follow, but Franky.. who happens to be the only cool headed bro in this team… has a better idea.

He captures one of the thugs who was swindling the blind man, and along with Luffy interrogates him for the location of the SMILE factory.

 

The thug doesn’t know anything… he’s never even heard of SMILE.

However, he says the Donquixote Family’s officers are gathered at the Colosseum today.

There’s a special event today, with an amazing prize…!

 

Meanwhile at the Colosseum, people from all over Dressrosa are gathered for the event.

Kids want to enter, but are chased away by a toy soldier saying people killing each other is no sight for a child, begone!

The announcer tells the crowd about the Son of the pirate king, and his fruit Mera Mera fruit.. which happens to be the prize of today’s tournament!

Powerful warriors from all around the New World are gathered here to take the prize home, but the Family isn’t going to give this one up easily!

Senior Pink – A fat dude with sunglasses, baby pacifier, and a hot babe on the side

Dellinger – Young man wearing a horned cap

Lao G – The old man we saw earlier

MachVise – The fat man we saw earlier

Among the crowd watching the tournament, we see the blind man again…

 

Meanwhile Luffy learns about the prize being Mera Mera fruit from the thug….!

One Piece 701 Summary: Adventure in the Country of Love,Passion and Toys

 

 

The Straw Hat Pirates and Law docks on Dressrosa. After they arrive, Luffy messes around with Momonosuke, who seems to have another vague memory of Doflamingo. Momonosuke then continues his argument with Luffy, saying that he will become a Shogun of Wano no Kuni. Law gives Nami a Vivre Card that points towards Zo, just in case something happens to them.

 

 

Law shows the Straw Hat Pirates a map of the island that one of his crewmen drew. It is decided that the team taking Caesar to Green Bit will be Law, Usopp, and Robin. Nami, Chopper, Brook, and Momonoske will stay to guard the Thousand Sunny, while Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Franky, and Kin'emon will destroy the factories and locate the missing samurai. Dressrosa is revealed to not only famous for its flowers, food, and dancing women but is also famous for living toys.

 

 

 

Luffy's group hear someone getting stabbed, and one of the toys tells them that it is a regular occurrence for the island's women to stab the men who cheated on them. Later, they arrive at the port town of Acacia, fully disguised with suits and beards. They dine at a restaurant, whose waiter tells them that fairies supposedly exist on the island. The restaurant also has a casino, where a gang of thugs are cheating a blind man who is playing roulette. It turns out that they are taking advantage of the fact that Buffalo is currently not there. However, Luffy calls out the thugs on their stunt, and they are ready to attack him. However, the blind man, after giving his thanks to Luffy, unsheathes a sword from his cane, and creates a giant sized hole in the floor of the casino. As the thugs are pulled into the hole, the mystery man says that being unable to see the world's filth could be considered an advantage of being blind.

One Piece 702Spoiler Trivia:  Bepo’s name is similar to a poem by Lord Byron; the poem’s titular character was captured and enslaved, but was liberated by a band of pirates that he joined, a situation just like that of Bepo’s crewmate Jean Bart.
