Ono Daisuke Casts in Barakamon Comedy Anime

The official site for the anime adaptation of Barakamon was released on Thursday, February 20, 2014.The official site announced the TV anime will slated for 2014 in Japan. The anime will produced by Kinema Citrus (Blood Lad, Code: Breaker) and the main character Seishu Handa will be played by the famous cast Ono Daisuke (Sebastian in Kuroshitsuji, Erwin in Shingeki no Kyojin). 

The original manga tells about a story about Seishu Handa, a calligrapher who moves to the remote Gotō Islands off the western coast of Kyushu, and his various interactions with the people of the island.

Barakamon is a Japanese manga series written by Yoshino Satsuki. Square Enix has released seven volumes, with an eighth to be released in September 2013. A spin-off manga, titled Handa-kun, will start serialization in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine.
