Nobuhiko Okamoto Joins Boku no Hero Academia Anime Cast as Katsuki Bakugo

According to this year's 53rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, Nobuhiko Okamoto will voice Katsuki Bakugo in Boku no Hero Academia(My Hero Academia) TV anime. The character designs for Katsuki have also been published on the magazine. Katsuki is Izuku's rival who has known Izuku since childhood.

Daiki Yamashita as Izuku Midoriya

 

Kenta Miyake as All Might

 

 

 

Kenji Nagasaki will direct the anime at the studio BONES, with scripts by Yousuke Kuroda and character designs by Yoshihiko Umakoshi.

Boku no Hero Academia manga is written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014. The manga inspired Hirofumi Neda's Boku no Hero Academia Smash!! manga on Shueisha's digital Shonen Jump+ app.
