Boku no Hero Academia anime, adapted from Horikoshi Kouhei's manga, was confirmed by its official Twitter account with a post. The post is removed later.

This year's 48th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that the 49th issue will have a "super super super important announcement" which will be published on an opening color page.

The manga has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014, and 5 volumes have been collected. The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a boy without superpowers in a world where powers are normal, but still wants to become a superhero.
