Ranmaru Kotone, creator of the Blood-C manga, confirmed in the October issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine that the Blood-C manga ended last Saturday.

Blood-C is a 2011 manga/anime series and a 2012 film produced in collaboration by Studio Production I. G and manga creators CLAMP. The manga began serialization in the Shonen Ace magazine in May, 2011, and three volumes have been released so far. The anime aired between July 8, 2011 and September 30, 2011 in Japan. A 2012 anime movie, titled Blood-C: The Last Dark, premiered on June 2, 2012.

The story of Blood-C revolves around a young girl named Saya Kisaragi who lives with her father, the head of her hometown's shrine. Apart from being a student, she serves as a hunter of monsters that inhabit the town. Saya is a cheerful, kind girl who sometimes can be a bit too polite. She has no idea that her whole life is actually an experiment, where she's being constantly "tested".
