AnoHana Film Gets Special Manga One-Shot!

AnoHana Film which will open on August 31 gets a special manga one-shot in the October issue of Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine. Mitsu Izumi will draw the manga. In the one-shot, it will cover the story at the beginning of the film version. 

 

Mitsu Izumi got the manga series adaptation of the original anime series last year and drawn the manga named Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. The manga got serialization at Jump SQ and shipped in Japan in May.  

 

AnoHana TV anime published by A-1 Pictures, and ran on Fuji TV’s Noitamina block from April 11 to June 23 of 2011. The story follows several childhood friends who try to reconnect in high school after a tragedy years ago. In the film, the story version will add a new epilogue.
